It is with much pleasure that we announce IVA’s parent company, VetFamily, part of Vimian Group, has acquired Vettr, a member services platform for veterinary clinics based in Brisbane, Australia. Founded in 2013, Vettr is a family-owned company offering procurement and support services to close to 200 veterinary clinics across Australia. Vettr complements Independent Vets of Australia (IVA), which is part of VetFamily since July 2021.
“With Vettr and IVA working towards the same mission, we establish a strong footprint as a leading service provider to independent veterinary clinics across Australia”, says Ali Tajbakhsh, CEO of VetFamily.
For now, it will be business as usual for IVA’s member clinics as the companies will continue to operate separately, but this acquisition empowers us as a group and strengthens us in our ongoing mission to “Empower independent veterinarians to stay competitive and relevant in fast moving and changing environment”.
