Are you getting what you’re prescribing? Compounding in the veterinary industry.

A panel discussion brought to you by Independent Vets of Australia

The use of compounded pharmaceuticals in veterinary practice has long been a topic of debate and conjecture. With patient outcomes being top of mind for many practicing veterinarians IVA has engaged a panel of experts in different sectors of the veterinary industry to shed light on and debunk some of the myths surrounding compounding in the veterinary industry.

Many veterinarians have experienced variances in patient response to compounded medication and Veterinarians have often asked, what guidelines or regulations do compounders have to adhered too? Is there a certain level of quality that has to be produced by a compounding pharmacy? Why do prices vary from compounder to compounder?

During this session, the panel of experts will have an open and frank discussion about these topics and more.

This will be a live discussion. If you have questions or concerns that you would like addressed during the session please forward them to info@independentvetsofaustralia.com.au.
